Our self-sustaining business structure is fueled by multiple income streams from the services we offer, providing a constant deal flow of new ideas to test and propagate. Through close observation, we assess which seeds grow the fastest and validate them in-house.

The Team Problem
Over 85% of all ventures fail in the first 2 years, there we said it. There are many reasons for this, however there’s a common trait that remains consistent - the team isn't suitable from the very beginning.
Not every Founder should be a CEO and vice versa. Venture Capital firms and investors are hoping, and expecting, that people with creative ideas are also capable of running and leading a business. This simply isn't the case in the majority of ventures, and experience is often crucial.
It’s time to try something different. We’ll dramatically increase the probability of success by recognising and utilising our individual talents, collaborating with others, and sticking to what we all do best. When you become a Co-Founder with us, you gain the support of an entire team rather than just an individual.

Once ready, we deploy the best possible team to operate the business, and bring in an exceptional CEO and team to co-found with us while taking equity. The new team continues to access the services of our core team at Seedshoot™, making the entire process exceptionally efficient.

The Money Problem
The other problem that is becoming increasingly common, even with highly successful ventures, is running out of capital, particularly during crucial times of scaling and growth. We believe it is unwise to hire exceptional leaders and CEOs and utilise their talents solely for constant fundraising.
The Studio model is based on being the first investor and a part of the follow-on investment. After testing each venture for product-market fit, we provide serious funding to each Portfolio Venture, ensuring ample runway for the first 12 months. This allows our teams to focus on what they do best: building and scaling successful businesses.
Each venture will be realistically funded to survive, scale and grow. We assess businesses at every step of the way, analyse our data, listen to feedback, make changes when necessary - give them everything they need to thrive.

Solution
We recognise that timing is a critical factor in the success of any start-up. To address this, we initially invest a conservative amount in each venture, allowing us to achieve product-market fit and validate customer feedback to determine the right timing to move forward. Our goal is to aggressively support world-class ideas and teams once we have traction in the market.
To achieve this, we plan to test multiple ideas concurrently and collaborate with exceptional studio teams, world-class talent and co-found ventures. We believe that this approach will have a significant impact on the traditional way of founding and funding ventures, reducing the time to reach seed investment and exit by several years, while also lowering the high failure rate of start-ups.
Looking at the current landscape, we see a huge growth globally of studio model companies, with their continued and impressive success of portfolio companies breaking out in large numbers. As we enter this rapidly emerging asset class, we are excited to be a part of it and believe that our focus on timing will play a vital role in the success of our ventures.

Our Fund
At Seedshoot™ we understand that new companies need both funding and support to succeed. While providing capital is important, it's also critical to create real value and support the growth of new ventures. We believe that the traditional VC model has limitations, which is why we prioritise value creation and only work with value-added investors.
Investors are always on the lookout for the next exciting and backable ventures to maximise their returns. As we aim to launch multiple ventures per year across sectors and industries, we recognise the importance of partnering with the most experienced, knowledgeable, and wise capital available to us to achieve our goals.
Our Value Creation Fund is designed to invest in our own ventures and back the best talent to co-found, run and own businesses, and achieve traction to scale and grow. Our aim is to be investors in the follow-on round as well, enabling us to profit by having a sizable equity percentage at exit, across a diverse portfolio, and supporting our ventures every step of the way.
Our ambition is clear - we aim to have a unicorn valuation venture emerge from our portfolio within the next five years.
